Herman absolutely has Texas headed in the right direction.

It was a great game that lived up to the hype and expectations surrounding it.

I wouldn’t say y’all played us even.

I would. in fact, if the Texas receiver doesn't drop a touchdown pass on 4th down in the LSU end zones, then we are probably discussing an LSU loss.

We can play the what if game all day. What DID happen is LSU won. By a touchdown. With 471 yards passing.

Teams that are actually back don't have to say it repeatedly as if they're trying to convince themselves.

Ptins944, your Horns gave it their best shot but LSU is obviously the better team across the board. You Texas fans need to let this one go and worry about the pounding Jalen Hurts is gonna put in y’all in Dallas. That one is really gonna hurt.

LSU won. Period. Great game to experience. I can live with that.

Fair enough

Close game at home early in the season means you are better, we will see if is more.

You play LSU @ home and Oklahoma at the State Fair, aside from that who do you really see as a challenge on the rest of your schedule?

@ Rice, @ WVU, vs KU, vs KSU (sans wizard), @ ISU, @ RapeU, and vs TT you should be the easy favorite. That leaves The 40 year old mullet man and the Frogs as games where you might have to worry.

At least you got rid of Mr Greedy (and rocket man I hope) but since they left the state is no longer the monopoly of the B12. You are kinda like the Vols being down and not pulling all the kids out of Georgia anymore.

No need, time will tell if texas is back but at least the soft program old ButterTooth left you seems to be changing for the better.

Best thing the B12 can do is to end the redundant CCG and play Notre Dame every year to assure the B12 gets a CFP spot that might otherwise go to the Irish and both the B12 regular season champion and the Irish would have the 13th game to equal the other 4 P5 CCG's.

Texas was basically Tennessee for a while. They were prepared and fought hard vs LSU (a veteran SEC team). Plenty to be excited about for Texas fans. No reason to shite on them. What is even more impressive is they scored 40 with a QB at RB. LSU will have to face better O/D coming up. Lets not get too excited.

The big12 is the only P5 conference to not make the CFP final game.

Until that happens, it really does not matter what Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas State, Texas tech, etc do, none of them are back.

Texas is about to go 11 & 2, splitting games with OU and killing the BIG12 others. They looked pretty good to me. And the schedule looks perfect the rest of the way. Sucks to be in the BIG12 in some ways, but it has one huge benefit. They'd be top 3 to 5 in SECW. Pretty good.
