Typical of Malzhan and his family. No offense, but when the offense sucks, it's someone else's fault.
His offense sucked this year, Chizik was interfering.
He missed out on jobs, a video posting how idiotic his wife is cost him the job by a damn Bama fan.
In Arky, Nutt was handcuffing him even though it was acknowledge the offense took off when Nutt took over playcalling basically.
Sounds Like Malzahn is just a guy finding every excuse on others for his failures. Here's an idea. You're not as good as you think Gus. You're overrated and people started seeing it this season. Your wife is an imbecile and left no doubt of that on video. Blame the stupid woman you married, not the guy that just posted her idiotic statements and behavior on youtube.

I agree completely that it could have been a deciding factor if the decision between Gus and another candidate was close otherwise. Her lack of tact would have been a huge red flag to me that she's a PR nightmare waiting to happen. Not on the scale of the Penn St scandal, but still.

FWIW, I found the Malzahn video to be more awkward and uncomfortable viewing than the Ryan video. Don't know if that says more about me or the videos though.

So Kansas and UNC didn't hire Malzahn because of a Bama fan? Hell no. That is stupid. They didn't hire him because his wife publicly embarassed him and herself.
I dont condone the video embellishment, but those teams' concerns would have been no different if the raw video had been posted.
