These LSU "basketball fans" are hopeless, bro. They didn't even know Samir Doughty is a former Will Wade player

Yeah, I didn't understand that myself.

Yeah because some VCU transfer scores 14 points against South Alabama, us LSU fans should be crying/ outraged that he's not on our roster... wtf

I have never heard of Jared Harper so I'm gonna have to go with Tremont Waters. He could sell a hell of a lot more cars than some dude named Jared.

He was at VCU for two years under Will Wade. Redshirted then started as freshman. Wade went to LSU, Doughty went to Auburn to get some real coaching and development and has blossomed into a future NBA player thanks to Bruce Pearl.

He had 18 points and 7 assists in Auburn's win over Kentucky last season.

The answer to your question is really simple. Switch player and teams from last year. Do you think Harper improves LSU team from last year or do you think Waters, with a better supporting cast improves that team that much better?

Still not ringing a bell. No insult to the guy I just don't remember him at all.

BowlJackson-I beg to differ. And apparently the SEC coaches beg to differ also.

I would think LSU fans would want any players that could help the team but I guess I'm crazy and I don't know much about basketball.

18 pts, 4 steals, 4 assists, 4 rebounds against a top 25 team in his second game in a year and a half

Doughty might be one of the top 2 players on a top 10 team

Which Point Guard do you like the best? Obviously, Harper had the better team last year. This is Harper's 3rd year vs Waters 2nd year. Discuss.

Career stats
Harper 12.5/ppg 2.3/Reb 4.4/ast

Waters
Waters 15.9/ppg 3.2/Reb 6/ast

They don’t care dude, they’re out here pushing their fringe stars because no one else is talking about them. Unfortunately it’s still Football season for like 60% of the league and for the people that do care about b-ball right now, all the spotlight is on Duke.

Welcome to November college basketball Auburn, just keep winning and people will care about your transfer player in February.

Yeah, people are so talking about LSU football right now. Outside of Clemson, the rest of college football is mediocre as hell. Everybody knows this. Look where LSU is ranked. Bama has way more of a spotlight than Duke. Not to mention the fatigue people have already knowing what the end result is going to be.

I know. It sucks. Nobody's going to be caring about Auburn basketball during Thanksgiving week, in November. Even when they're likely playing Duke. I'm sure the national media won't care too much about it, and nobody will be watching. Sucks to be us.

Not sure where I mentioned LSU football being a topic.

Also cool you play Duke during thanksgiving where they’ll spend 90% of their breath talking about Zion and Berret, so my point will be drilled home then, which works great so soon.

LSU plays in a tournament with the defending National Champs then too, so maybe we will both gain some perspective around that time.
