I missed his post about the titles being retroactive. That is true about some of the titles however it doesn't change the fact that(with the exception of '41) those teams were undefeated and untied 25' 30' 34' or undefeated with a tie in the Rose Bowl 26'.
Those teams were considered national champions if you go by newspapers of the day:

Not to mention that if Alabama plays the actual title winner OSU 10 times they beat them probably 8. Claim it bro...

Fraudulently claimed titles: 1941
Disputable claimed titles: 1964, 1965, 1973, 1978
Indisputable claimed titles: 1925, 1926, 1930, 1934, 1961, 1979, 1992, 2009, 2011, 2012
So there are 10 indisputable. That's over three times as many as the closest SEC team. /thread

"an Louisiana State University education" is wrong.
Louisiana starts with a consonants, "L", therefore you use "a" and not "an"
Thanks for playing though.

This is what this board is becoming.

Thank YOU for playing though.

Wait, so between the 1982 and 1983 seasons, Alabama went from 6 national titles to 11?? That is pretty damn impressive.
