But there are faaaaaaar less fat, dumbass rednecks in Miami than in Tuscaloosa. Some people would take that into consideration.
I've been to the Miami airport. That's all I need to see. As for Tuscaloosa, it's a place I love. It's not my hometown (Mobile is), but I enjoy spending time there.

Is this even a legit thread? Tuscalooser is a 2nd rate city.

I've lived in Georgia my whole life, so I would rather live here than Miami also. All I'm saying is that people who aren't born and bred in the deep south would most likely rather live in Miami than pretty much any city in Alabama.

I can at least understand what they're saying in Tuscaloosa.

I've lived in Dallas and Houston, as well as Rio de Janeiro as a child.

I'm not talking about Bama fans, I'm talking about the ignorant mentality that is real prelavent in the south. I remember the 1st time I was going to NYC in high school some of my coonass friends asked me why ''I ain't scared of the crime''.

I've spent time in cities surrounding Miami, but never within the metro.

Miami is one of the few world class cities in the U.S(NYC, SF, L.A, Chi, LV), if you think it's 3rd world you're either an ignorant redneck or too poor to hang out in the nice area. in either case, it isn't good for you.

It was a joke, but that's the feeling you get, if you've ever flown internationally. I also got that feeling at the airport in Midland, Texas.

Some people shouldn't take things on message boards so literally. Especially is a thread that's comparing a NFL franchise and a college football program.

I'm just saying, Miami is one of the finest cities on the continent, Tuscaloosa is a decent college town.

Yeah I've flown to Germany, Russia, Afghanistan, India, and Mexico. Third world does not mean poor or uncivilized or undeveloped, which is a common misconception.
