Evans is sick. Dude kicked our DBs asses today.

His size is ridiculous. Especially against ya'lls DB's today. On A&M's last TD drive, there was a play where he was just standing there... waited for the ball and just jumped up to take the ball.

Treadwell has potential oozing out of him... He hasn't produced as much as Matthews or Evans yet but that kid can ball... I knew he'd be good but he has exceeded my expectations

Mike Evans and it isn't close.

Wrong. Not saying he isn't good, but he isn't the best.

OBJ & Landry have looked pretty damn good as well... against crappy teams.

At this point, any LSU fan mentioning OBJ or Landry over Evans needs to take off the purple and gold glasses. Evans has Calvin Johnson like potential.

Was real shocked that there wasn't much love for Evans on this board during the offseason.

Believe I mentioned him somewhere. Kid got no love last year despite being a stud then as a freshman. He reminds me a bit of Julio Jones and AJ Green.

I must have missed where this thread was changed to "which SEC wide receiver has the most potential"

Evans had a monster game, I know. But don't forget the circus catches Landry and ODB have made. They are 2 of the top 4 in the conference while splitting receptions. Imagine if they didn't have anyone to compete with like the other guys on the list...

Sammie Coates although it's pretty close with some of the others mentioned.

Cooper's having a bit of a sophomore slump right now and has a bad case of the drops. I think he gets it turned around in the Colorado State game.

Most of the time it's a confidence thing -- either too much or too little.

Evans is a beast. As far as all around weapon? It's OBjr by far.
He is far more versatile than Evans.

Cooper seems to be the only receiver AJ cannot connect with. Hell, AJ even had a couple of deep shots to OJ Howard today. I think it is more on Cooper than anything. He had a tendency to give up on routes even last year...

I have never seen a WR use his body like Evans does. He plays football like a basketball player, it is just something else to watch. The guy has fantastic position almost every play and always gets open when plays break down. He also has the beat hands I've ever seen, they must be like a foot long because they dwarf the ball.

It doesn't, but mike Evans is still better than the rest.

Circus catches are great, but one on one theres nobody better than mike Evans. It's okay, LSU does not have to be the best at everything. There are some players from other teams better than LSU players.

Wrong. Not saying he isn't good, but he isn't the best.

And the link has the results through week 2. If I look at the top 3 guys through week 3, I Think Evans has around a 100 more than the next guy?
