Perhaps JaMarr will lead a new revolution
in college football where other quitters
afraid of injury, sit out their junior year.
Hell, this thing could start one-and-done in
football; play freshman year and avoid injury by
sitting out the next two years. Of course there's
always that chance of getting hit by a cookie
truck crossing a street.

Marshall shined as the clear number 1 until he opted out. Boutte shined as the number 1. Chase would have put up over 1,000+ yards and 10+ tds without much of a problem.

Kinda gross that he was wearing #7 to turn out to be such a giant twat.

Thankfully, #7 is retired in God's country. The giant that wore that number never quit...EVER.

I find it quite honorable a fan base never quitting on their player, after their player quit on them.

That’s impressive determination.

Just think, LSU didn't even need him (or their other two leading WRs who opted out) to beat Ole Mrs. They had a 3rd string true freshman QB throwing to a true freshman WR for 308 yards breaking the all-time SEC record for receiving yards in a game by a WR while Johnny Reb's boys were playing with fire extinguishers on the sidelines.

Chase and others jumped shipped early or as soon as their team play look unsalvageable.

in fairness, that scenario hasn't been presented to Alabama players prior to the end of the regular season since 2010. Alabama did have a couple of players opt out (quit) before the Citrus Bowl last year. LSu had zero players skip the playoffs last year, so I'm not sure why we're talking about how much Alabama players wanted to keep playing this year. I mean, of course they want to. They haven't lost all season. Winning is fun.

HOWEVER, the volume of players that opted out before the season on LSU's team is fricking bullshite and I lost a lot of respect for those guys (and Marshall/Gilbert for quitting mid-season).

Chase lead our mass opt-outs that killed the season and hurt the program. He’s a quitter.
