Kinda gross that he was wearing #7 to turn out to be such a giant twat. My disdain for LSU is widely noted, but that’s next level shitting on a program and its tradition of excellence, IMO.

Smith had a 1st round grade wrapped up in the regular season and still played. Waddle, pending medical evaluation, was/is a 1st round pick and he is pushing himself to simply return to "help" his team in another NCG.
Chase and others jumped shipped early or as soon as their team play look unsalvageable.
Chase's stats may FOREVER outshine Smith's. But, Smith's name and accomplishments will forever be remembered for the quality teammate that he was.

I’m in the minority defending Chase, but you’d have to be a fricking moron to want to play with LSU scrubs at virtually every position, this after setting records (and out-producing the numbers the Heisman winner Devonta would eventually put up.)

It just seems like a team that is reeeeeeeaching for the 2020 best team of all time would be bragging about how great Jeray Jenkins was.

The offense played well under Brennan and at times later. Its amazing what leadership can bring to a team, but talent doesn't = leadership. Commitment and selflessness define your name in this life and thereafter, not rookie contracts and draft positions
