So will LSU. Guy expected to be our #2 didn’t pitch this past weekend. Tommy White got hurt in the 1st inning of game one. Coach is still experimenting with the lineup.
Tennessee isn’t just going to get better while everyone else stays the same.

You’re right. And you’ll be facing the #1 team in the country with arguably the most talented and deepest lineup in the country playing at home. You won’t be playing a good G5 and an average to above average PAC12 team. Good luck

Y’all may have the deepest lineup in the country. But UT has the best pitching rotation in the country. Should be a great matchup.

Chase Dollander is rated the best pitcher in baseball by MLB prospect, and D1 both Burns and Dollander are all Americans. Burns will be a top 10 pick in next years draft.

but what is your point to this? just that they're great pitchers? cool. they can be the best player in all of college sports, but if the team doesn't win, then what's the point?

Real SEC baseball fans understand what it takes to play a full schedule of games & to then step back & see what the playoffs will entail. Vol fans are just too new to all this to have any idea how meaningless the first few weeks of the season actually means. Work on being patent, Little Ones.

I always pull for the vols out of conference, as I do with all SEC teams, but some on here make it hard.
Which I get they don't want the support, but thats part of the SEC. We rally around each other, even if in conference we bully each other
Look at Ole Miss last season. We all were so happy for them for winning. It was fun to watch and fun to celebrate. Had UT won, it would not have been fun when it should have been.
