Same thing I say when I visited the Dump, I mean Hump in your heinous demographic surroundings. Our training facility is larger...LOL

Ditto for your football stadium. 28-7

Our football stadium is nicer than commonwealth since we expanded it

We also didn't have to get a grocery store to sponsor it.

If MSU couldn’t win a natty with Will, Thigpen, and Palmeiro I doubt a new stadium in a stacked conference will help you.

Good to see another SEC East program making efforts to compete with most of the SEC West baseball stadiums

The only SEC school that needs an outside business sponsor to help pay for their football stadium renovations.

Alex Box, what's your next move?

Hopefully get rid of all the bleachers and replace them with chairbacks. Just finished the team clubhouse this year. Also replaced the video board with the biggest in the country. I think switching to all chairbacks would make a HUGE difference in the aesthetics. I'd also like to see them make the adds on the wall all white similar to what Arkansas does

LSU brings the people.

They also are located in the 2nd largest city in the SEC next to Nashville. Baton Rouge Metro has a million people

Starkville/Columbus/West Point has about 100k

No one will believe me, but I was being recruited by MSU in the late 90s. They ended up going with another SS in my area instead.

So where did you end up playing at?

LSU brings a lot of people because they win a lot. There are plenty of people who commute in for our games. My grandfather lives 45 min north of Baton Rouge and went to every home game for 30+ years (He’s 91 now and isn’t physically capable anymore). Yes being in a city certainly helps but winning helps more than anything. And what all are you considering Baton Rouge metro? The actual city has fewer than 250k people. If you’re casting a wide net for the metro area in BR may as well count Tupelo, Meridian, and Jackson for Starkville

There you go. LSU fans have to brave the drive through BR to get to a baseball game. That takes some courage man.

All these cities you listed are further than 45 minutes from Starkville. Your point?
