At least you have a sense of humor about it, I'm sure Carry wants to tear me to shreads over it

Funniest time i've ever heard it played was this year during the 13 men on the field thing, they played it, stopped to hear the penalty, heard it was on them, then played it again...

in that slide show it showed a picture of an expanded tiger stadium no?
Posted on 3/4/11 at 2:23 pm to Damn Good Dawg
no, are you refering to the black and white old photo? that was before the upper decks were built.
Posted on 3/4/11 at 2:24 pm to Damn Good Dawg
Nope, the only expansion was the terrace they are considering putting on top of the weight room, it's in the 3rd pic looking at the stadium, you can see the table umbrellas

Why would they do that crap? If anything i'd say build the 2nd deck on the opposite side, keep that side below road level, it's very cool driving past the stadium and looking down into it

When are they updating Tiger Stadium?
updating how? they are currently in the process of replacing the deteriorated window right now. project is underway.
but i dont know if thats what you were asking about.
I thought that was preconstruction.
But I thought yall had a renovation planned.

we do. if you follow that link it states that the windows were the initial phase in an overall facelift to the stadium.
exactly how long between phases, or what is entailed in the next phase...couldn't tell ya.

you mean this:
i personally want to just fill that whole end zone. seeing from the road is cool and all but a lot of crowd noise leaves from there. and that road is only for buses during school anyway. expanding the other side could work but i just see it as more noise escaping. we could fill that end zone and make it 100% students like how PSU is changing theres too
i watched a special that said if we did the retard bridge thing so that we still have the view from the road that sanford would hold close too 101,000. if we filled it in we could fit 113,000 and not make seats tiny like in neyland. if we did that AND the other end zone it could cold close too 116,000. of course we can barely put 92,746 in right now so we need to win a title.
i just want sanford to be over 100,000 capacity and have a unified student section

Free labor when the fans/ opposing fans do it. Got to cut cost in these hard times

Congrats LSU and Bamma
However, I certainly like to ring my cowbell at MSU after an afternoon of tailgaiting outside our pitifu;l little stadium, so (to me) beauty to me resides in my eyes, which fondly look at MSU for the best place to be.

They play it when we get sacked, throw an INT, give up a safety, whatever, they play it. I think they drowned out opposing bands after THEIR teams scored a TD playing it. I boo them sometimes honestly when they play it at a really stupid time.

You can't tell me with a straight face that those cowbells don't give you a headache at some point during the tailgating or the game.
