1a. Green
1b. Jeffery

3. Julio
4. Childs

Green and Jeffery are close. Which one is more successful is going to depend on who's throwing them the ball.

??? It's just my opinion. Green is def the best, but after that, they are all about even. I wouldn't have put Childs at number 2 last year. But I can't remember him making any mistakes at all this year. He has all the talent you could ask for. I don't see the problem with ranking him 2nd.

Yeah, I think Jones is the best blocker of the group

The reason I brought that up is that it is a big thing for a lot of the teams and Jeffery is about 230ish so it should just be some work for him to pick it up.

Jones has really impressed me the second half of the season, looked better than he ever has and I am willing to say that he is a good one now.

As for Darvin, not sure how good an NFL prospect he will be. He is a great possession guy who almost never drops the ball, but even in an explosive offense, he still lacks the ability to make the big play. When we need a homerun shot, we go to Emory Blake or T Zach. But as a third receiver on a team, Darvin could be a good one to bring off the bench.

Product of a system. imo

So he is a product of a system and Childs isn't?

I don't think the system applies to WR's as much as it does QB's.

Jeffery is a much more physical receiver than Childs. He plays much tougher. I think Child's is much improved this year but Jeffery is just an absolute beast

Huh? Auburn runs a spread option attack, and Arkansas runs a typical pro style offense.

It can, but it just depends on how physically gifted the WR is.

Darvin Adams gets overlooked a lot, I mean he had 204 yards in the first half against SC(second time) including that awesome catch to enf the half

He also shite his pants on that one pass against S.C. when he heard foot steps.

What hurts Adams is that he plays for Auburn. He only gets to go up against Thorpe in practice instead of games. He misses a career best game due to this.

To be fair, Arkansas has 4 other WR's in the top 20 of the SEC.

I think with a better passing game some of LSU's five stars could be there.

Yeah a decent passing QB would fix that

And to be even more fair, SC ran the ball 70 times more than Arkansas not including the SECCG

Arkansas QBs also had 1193 more yards passing

Jeffery also had no other receivers to take pressure off himself.

What does a spread option attack have to do with a reciever catching a pass? Childs is a product of having other great recievers around him so you can't double cover him. He also has a first round NFL QB throwing to him.

Has the SEC ever had a top three group of WR's like Green, Jeffrey and Julio? This has to be one of the best years for receivers in the history of the conference. And then you have a lot of other very good ones like Childs, Darvin Adams, Joe Adams and no one ever mentions Randall Cobb (granted the all purpose stuff is part of why he's so good.)

Killing our secondary isn't exactly a stat to hang your hat on. It is an all too common theme among the Gamecock opponents this season.
