I think it's Spurrier but it's close - probably Meyer 2nd, then Saban.

Question for the board (please don't look up). How many losing season did UF have in the 1980's?

Correct - the point is that Florida was on the cusp - the whole state was booming in the 1990's as was UF as a whole (look at what the BB program has done) - Spurrier is still awesome but some people overblow that he took them from nowhere - they were going to be good in the 1990's no matter what - oh except Curley Hallman.

Ppl seem to think UF was Vandy before Spurrier got there. They were more like Arkansas...middle of the pack SEC team and once the Visor showed up...they blew up.

List the other seven coaches you'd put in front of him.

It is definitely Spurrier.

Spunky it is. He revolutionized the SEC and college football with the Fun 'n Gun.

Gene Stallings has to be up there somewhere. He was 70-16-1 from 1990-1996 at Alabama. He had a national title in 1992.

i'd like to take this opportunity to ask why CUM is affectionately referred to as "Corch"... anyone? I honestly don't know.
