and we hung 50 on LSU, which is what a team that's way better would do. Your point?
You totally missed my point. We sucked that year, and our defense was atrocious. Auburn played a better overall SEC slate in 2010 on top of not losing a single game.

This makes no sense. Every year is different. I would put the '03 LSU team up against any team.
Made perfect sense. A team that lost an SEC game shouldn't be ahead of a team that won all their games. I don't recall the SEC West being that strong in 2003 either.

'96 UF or '08 UF. Both teams could stop you with excellent defense and score a ton of points offensively. Both were very balanced, efficient teams.
On second thought after looking at the SRS system, '09 Alabama is actually a little ahead of '96 Florida because they played a tougher schedule. '08 Florida is clearly the best SEC team in the last 20 years.
My rankings:
1. 2008 Florida
2. 2009 Alabama
3. 1996 Florida
4. 2003 LSU
5. 2004 Auburn
6. 1995 Florida (Really good team that just ran into a Nebraska buzzsaw)
7. 2010 Auburn
8. 1998 Tennessee
9. 1992 Alabama
10. 2006 Florida
11. 2007 LSU
12. 1994 Florida
13. 1997 Tennessee
14. 2002 Georgia
15. 1993 Florida
16. 2000 Florida
17. 1999 Alabama
18. 2001 LSU
19. 2005 Georgia

No. You were trying to degrade UF for a "weak" schedule. So, you said LSU sucked, and I said UF hung 50 on LSU, so they did what they should have. What a good team would have done.

Auburn '10. Best by far. Beat 6 top 25 teams 4 from their own division. Doesn't matter how they won. Winning is winning period. Deal with it. Auburn is the best. Ill also add they have the best unis out of all sec champs as well. Huge homer here and don't give a fock.

Not with y'alls defense.

We had an excellent run defense, and a poor pass defense. Yet, we still we undefeated.. Offense can win championships.

That would be my top 3 as well.

Football is a team sport I don't care who was QB I watched the Tide dismantle the gators with ease. They were yhe best IMO

But the defense holds y'all back from being the best champion since 92 imo

Better than last years SEC Championship game. Wasnt it the biggest winning margin EVA?

2004 Auburn was better than 2010 Auburn. They were a balanced team and also didn't depend on gimmicks.
They had three guys on offense that could carry the load and were studs. They also had a strong secondary with players that literally knocked people out.

No

But but but whatever we went undefeated in 14 games in arguably one of the best divisions in SEC history.

I'd argue until the death that the 1998 Vols would beat 2010 Auburn, but not a bad list.

I wont get in the 2004 vs 2010 discussion because both were great teams but what gimmicks did Auburn use in 2010?
I did not know running the ball down your throat was now a gimmick?

Not sure what that would look like but it sounds like a gimmick.

I'll take the 2004 version. The defense puts it over the top for me.
