TN will have a very good backfield next season, no doubt it will be among the nation's best, but I'm not sure what the OP was expecting to get out of this thread.

Nothing good was ever going to come out of it.

I mean, LSU only finished with 23 more yds than Tennessee THIS YEAR.

LSU averaged 20 more yards per game and an entire yard more per carry.

Just so we are clear, ut led the sec in rushing carries.

UT had 23 fewer yards on 98 more carries than LSU.

Clearly they are the best.

We played against overall much better run defenses than LSU did.

Our common opponent Bama indicates we are better and your savior Fournette is really not any better than Hurd. He just runs behind a better line and breaks huge rubs against terrible defenses.

Hurd does all the little stuff right and pounds on good defenses until they eventually break down for huge gains from him Dobbs or Kamara.

Hurd clearly outperformed Fournette against their best common opponent.

I'm glad we caught your team while they were young.Next years young team isn't on our schedule. But they should win at least 8 gaes being young and all.

LSU didnt play well against bama. But i can easily look at USC game and see how tenn only rushed for 153 yards.

Prove it. Say, are you really giving Hurd credit for dobbs scrambling ability?

LSU fans acting like Fournette is Bo Jackson or something.... Can we all agree its freakin ridiculous.

He's a very good back, but I wouldn't put him on Darren McFadden's level let alone what LSU fans have been saying.

Dobbs ability to scramble does help Hurd because defenses have to account for Dobbs running as well, but I'm sure at the same time Hurd would have killed to run behind LSUs line last year instead of UTs.

And Hurd is the most complete back in the SEC. He might not have the top end speed of Henry and Fournette but he is going to be the best pro out of the three of them.

No he's not. And I'm a Vol.

I'm sure you said the same about Arian Foster, who at this stage wasn't on Hurds level.

I think the original post concerns next season, George. Not water under the Tide's bridge.

Speaking of Old Miss I'd be more worried about defending Dexter Mclusyer than Fournette. That guy was a freakin little beast. Reminded me of Percy Harvin another guy impossible to defend.
