Lewis was physically a freak of nature. If I'm a coach assembling an all star team on talent alone im choosing Jamal, Mcfadden, Walker and Bo Jackson.
These are fairly recent images of Herschel. Some of you need to get real.

Of all SEC rbs, Derrick Henry was the best in high school, the best in college, and the best in the NFL.

Meanwhile Derrick Henry holds the SEC rushing record, did it on fewer attempts
And also averaged 1 less yard per carry and less TDs per carry than Fournette who also broke Herschel's record that year behind a far worse Oline and in 3 fewer games and 100 less carries. Add in receiving stats and Fournette unquestionably had the better year statistically while playing on a much worse team.

No one thinks Fournette is better than Henry.

This wasn't the tune LSU fans were singing going into that game on November 7, 2015. If I recall correctly, LSU was undefeated and ranked #2 in all of college football that night. It's not that he played for a "much worse team," it's that he shite the bed on the biggest stage of his collegiate career. He was a virtual non-factor in three straight losses. He made his name rushing against directional teams. When the going got tough, he quit on his team the very next year.

Herschel doesn't do pushups, he does earth downs.

In the Beginning there was nothing … then Herschel Walker roundhouse kicked nothing and told it to get a job.

Herschel destroyed the periodic table because he only recognizes the element of surprise.

I just don't think you guys recognize the greatness of Herschel. He is the one true God. He stole the Declaration of Independence, he kills elephants by running through them. If Derick Henry saw Walker play in person he would turn his hair into pigtails and prance away like a little bitch.

Henry holds the record for most yards in high school history, most yards in a season in SEC history, and earned the nickname King Henry in the NFL while you're giving me some list based on someone's opinion.

When you look at the yards by the running backs before and after Herschel... herschel looks like chuck fkn norris' daddy.
1979 UGA leading rusher = 579 yards
1983 UGA leading rusher = 519 yards

Dooley never changed the offense. The only difference was Herschel Walker.
I gave all kinds of links showing experts selecting Herschel Walker as being the best SEC RB all time. I have challenged all the Alabama fans to show me one showing Henry as the best.

Cmon, you must admit the way he phrased that was begging for the comparison. Just laugh, man. This place doesn’t always have to be arguments on top of arguments…
Posted on 5/30/22 at 8:25 pm to meansonny
Its more funny because the RB in line to start in 1980 had the last name Norris.

Leonard Fournette had better numbers than Henry. Go sit down you entitled clown. It's a Hershel Walker & Bo Jackson debate
