If you made a top 10, Mallett/Childs and Mallett/Adams could arguably both be in there...

(in fact if you look at the SEC receiving stats, Arkansas has three receivers in the top 10 yards receiving, each with 14 receptions or more)

McElroy/Jones is definitely up there

Garcia/Jeffrey for sure

Murray/Durham after last night...

It's been like that 3 years in a row and really doesn't mean shite. His WR's did that at Louisville.

But when push came to shove they were terrible

His reasoning is based around the assumption that Mallett/Childs/Adams/Williams/Hamilton/Wright/ETC weren't any good because the team is not capable of winning on the road in the SEC.

You have to ignore that they faced the top defenses from the SEC on the road, that they were true fresh/sophs, and most importantly to remember that Arkansas doesn't improve from year to year, all the teams around them either get better or worse.

No when push came to shove means .... when not in his system.

In other words the NFL.

It proved just how much of "SYSTEM" he runs

You mean the same offense over half the NFL runs?

You just make the "system" shite up.

Maybe LSU should start running our so called "system" offense, and you might score some points.

Without a QB it doesn't matter what system you use and they don't have any.

Here let me copy and paste the thread title for you since you missed it the first time around:

"Best QB-Receiver combos in the SEC"

SEC != NFL

LSU receivers wouldn't even make it into the top 15 list because you have crappy QBs.

sad isn't it. I am almost positive that we have the best receiving corps in the sec, quite possibly the country.

The talent level of the WR's that he had at Louisville doesn't even begin to compare to the talent level of the current crop of WR's that Arkansas has.

Yet he hasn't done anything to PROVE that.

He has better stats than Childs in almost every statistical category while being in a run first offense(as opposed to Arky's pass happy offense), but yeah, you are right, he has not proven anything.
