No Alshon love?

Alshon is a stud no doubt. But, since the OP asked for only one, Gilmore gets the nod.

He is a shut down corner -- one of the SEC's best even as a true freshman -- in one of the top 3 secondaries in the conference. Plus he can return punts (TD called back against UTe) and he is the QB in the WildCock. Also a great all around kid with terrific character and leadership.

I'm kind of tempted to say Marcel Dareus but its probably Ingram.

I'd say

1. Ingram
2. Dareus
3. Barron
4. T-Rich
5. Vlachos (funny, but might be true )

I've never even considered Vlachos as one of the best players on the team but he did a good job. I think of all three returning O-lineman as kind of on similar levels but its hard to grade O-lineman unless you go back and rewatch the games. Unless its somebody just totally dominant like Chris Samuels was.

The best player on the whole team could be Hightower. But its obviously a lot more iffy in his case.

Somebody asked his age. I'm guessing he either googled it or looked it up on facebook. Since I'm not on Facebook, I don't know if you can do that, but doesn't qualify for "stalker" I don't believe
