City Cafe isn't as great as some make it out to be but its pretty good food and insanely cheap. I've never had breakfast there, supposed to be good, but you can get a meat and two for like 4 dollars literally.

Maggies is under the viaduct and down the street from the prison and across the street from the railroad tracks. I call that ambiance.

The one in B'ham is good. Tuscaloosa location, not so much.

If I had to guess you are around 30 or so? The only reason I say this is because in the late 80's early 90's I had a group of guys that I did some roadracing with WERA and AMA that we would make the ride to T town just for the ribs and etc. Of course that was long before the B'ham location opened so I might be out of touch with the current situation as I frequently am these days if I am wrong

That's a winner right there.

Also, here are some other places in Auburn I forgot:

Big Blue Bagel
Findley's Eatery
Strutting Duck(For a bar, they have awesome food and kickass daily specials.)

Nope, 22. Just worked by the one in B'ham for a while when I lived there. Went to the T-Town one once, wasn't a huge fan.

Always went there when I visited friends in Auburn. Was sad to hear it had closed. Good place.

Back open. Moved downtown where the Olde Auburn Ale House used to be. Prob. my favorite bar in town. Plus my band's playing there week from Wednesday.

At my tailgate.

Who wants to sit inside on a fall afternoon on an SEC campus?

They took over the best bar in town, the Ale house, and turned it into a redneck shithole.

It's nowhere near as redneck as you think, FYI.

Only charge cover on Fridays and Saturdays now, and occasionally Sundays, but that's because that's when they have National Acts usually.

But that is not it. They completely changed why I liked going to the Ale House. It used to be quite, and a local hang out. Not full of college kids. All of that is gone.

There's still a bunch of Ale House regulars who go there. Plus Lenny the Air Drummer still has his table by the stage.

Is great on the way to the bar after the game.

I'm glad someone else had done that too.

Walk back from the stadium directly to the square on university. take a left at the church hang a right at Vanbueren, snag some pizza and then walk down the alley to the bar of your choice. I love being a pedestrian on gameday. Living within walking distance of both the square and campus is amazing.
