Ramsey's is a good local place. Pick and choose meats and veggies from the menu, plus they have great homemade pies. Went there for the AU/Kentucky game... had a bar and lot's of TV's for games going on.

Ramseys is Kentucky Home Cook Meals...and the pies are Missey Pies.

Down the road from my daughters school....they have several (Harrodsburg Rd. and Tates Creek Rd.)

If you want another place....I suggest Cheddar's

I don't like Ramsey's, but that's probably because I don't like country food.

There's this little BBQ place out on Georgetown Rd. called Red State BBQ that's pretty good. Smashing Tomato in Hamburg is good stuff. Ooohhh.. and Ted's Montana Grill. Buffalo Burgers.

Someone posted Burger King - What a hoot. I flew into and out of Lexington for almost ten years (don't anymore) There was a BurgerKing on Man-o-War Blvd I must have eaten at 100 times late at night after flying into Airport there on my way to London, KY.

I have a question. They fry Bananna Peppers? breaded like onion rings there, mostly at beer joints I guess. Never had them anywhere else except KY. Anyone familiar with this bar food treat?

If you like hickory grilled steaks, Rafferty's is a decent steakhouse. If you go there, make sure to get an order of their croissants.

For more upscale, check out one of the many Malone's/Harry Ts/Sal's Chophouse, Regatta Seafood, etc. All part of the Bluegrass Hospitality Group.
