re: Would you marry the AT&T girl?
Posted by BigBlueHog on 9/6/14 at 12:01 pm
Pretty sure AT&T girl is in this [link=(video)]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3v98CPXNiSk[/link].
They say "bitchy" a lot so it my not be SFW. Other than that, pretty tame.
She's pretty. I'd marry her if my wife was cool w/ it.

Its shocking how much this happens
I have a cousin who found out much later in life that the woman she was told her whole life was her mother was actually her grandmother and the person she was told was her sister was actually her mother.
She was born in the 60's when this was kind of a thing. Teen pregnancies shamed the family something fierce back then but, to have a reason for the baby, stories like this were made up.

I don't get this one. Is it saying that the compressed air pushes out the plastic?
[link=(Yes)]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RD9Dc8CA_BA[/link]. That is what your Coke bottle looks like before getting to the bottling plant. You can move more on a trailer and save transportation costs (companies don't like to ship air). They inflate them at the plant before bottling.
re: Women who don't take the husbands last name?
Posted by BigBlueHog on 7/17/14 at 10:02 pm
I know two guys that took their wives' last names. Both were in my unit. One was an officer so I didn't ask him what the deal was. the other was a Sgt so I asked him why he did it.
He said his father-in-law was the last of their name and he wanted it to go on (no sons). Plus, the Sgt had a bunch of brothers and his last name was pretty common and his wife's last name was pretty cool so he agreed. He was a good guy that everyone liked and respected so he got no shite for it.
I'm the last of my name and I have two daughters. I've already told them they have to marry guys that will take our name. By the time they get married it probably won't be that big a deal.

This house will become a shrine, and punks and skins and rastas will all gather round and hold their hands in sorrow for their fallen leader. And all the grown-ups will say, "But why are the kids crying?" And the kids will say, "Haven't you heard? Rick is dead! The People's Poet is dead!" And then one particularly sensitive and articulate teenager will say, "Other kids, do you understand nothing? How can Rick be dead when we still have his poems?" And then another kid will say
The people's poet is dead
The people's poet is dead

There are a million people in NWA who claim they or their father or their grandfather were approached about investing in a local discount store that ended up becoming Walmart and passed on the opportunity. Who knows how many are telling the truth, but I'd hazard a guess that those who are kick themselves every chance they get.
I worked w/ a guy that was at WM when the went public. Sam was going around encouraging employees to buy like 1 or 2 k worth at the IPO. Dude passed. He says he's over it now but you could still see the hurt in his eyes.
He says he was young at the time and couldn't just put up that kind of cash for something he didn't think would be that big a deal.
Hindsight is 20/20. I'm sure there are a lot of people this sort of thing has happened to.

The folks telling you to not pay for lessons are correct.

Are you talking about Judah Benjamin? According to Wiki he was a US Senator, but not Lt Gov
Judah and the Lt Governor were cousins.

Louisiana's Lt Governor during the Civil War was a Jew. His cousin was Secretary of State for the Confederacy.

re: how many SEC campuses share a border with da hood??
Posted by BigBlueHog on 12/19/10 at 7:45 pm
I don't recall a hood around UK's campus. Don't think the UofA has any around them either.
Now, in the 80's and 90's, there were hoods all around LSU. Cross Park Blvd from the Garden District and go one block... that is da hood.
How do you grow up in BR and end up going to Kentucky?? UK was the furthest I could get away from BR and still be in the SEC.
