Clemson vs Georgia 1982
Clemson was defending national champion and Georgia had won it the year before.
It was the first Monday Night game in College football history.
First night game in Sanford Stadium since the 30s or 40s when we had temporary lights.
We were on the quarter system so classes didn't start for another couple of weeks. The party was non-stop leading up and hype was as big as it gets for an opener.
Dawgs won 13-7.

I remember that game. IIRC, Clemson marched right down the field and Homer Jordan scored on a QB draw, and then Clemson did nothing the rest of the game.
