Good read, thanks for posting.

I think Arkansas will be better than people think this year.
looks nasty on paper, no doubt. and the "89" is a top 3 center in the country.

Why do people downvote stats?

Are their glasses so colored that numbers need to be defended against?

If it was all about ratings, the life champs would have won the last 2 SEC East crowns running away.

They must get a free star for signing with tenner. Either that or serious regression.

Based on, not "based off of".

Honestly had no idea y'all returned so much on OL. I knew Auburn did but that number of returning starts on OL may well make for a surprising year for the Gamecocks.

Not that this stuff matters once they step on the field, but Alabama's recruiting score goes up considerably if one of the blue chips wins a starting job over Womack.

Whoever's best, freshman or not. I'm not throwing out any names because I don't know, but my guess is Wilson won't win the job right away.

I think either Wilson or Thomas will win the RT job, and the one that doesn't will play LG. I would prefer Wilson play RT so we can get him developing there and Thomas on the left side of the line, with the future in mind.

It matters overall but not individually. By that I mean that you can usually take the overall 4 year rankings of a team to the bank but you'll find that at the individual level some guys are players and some just aren't. It's just that on average the higher ranked guy usually is better.

Then you have guys like Sutton and even Barnett (wasn't even the highest ranked DE in our class that year) who make rankings look stupid.

Jonah Williams is the best O-lineman Saban has had, imo.

You guys say this about players literally every year. Just say he is really good.

But what if Elliot Baker wins the RT job at Alabama? His 247Sports composite was .9223. That brings Alabama to a .9437 average.

If he plays like he did his freshman year throughout his career, then yes. But I'm not ready to say that yet. He still has to show he can transition from RT to LT.

You're right -- Florida and Georgia are terrible recruiters.

Come back with some better material when Missouri isn't winning 4 games a season and Tennessee isn't pushing your shite in on the field guy.

He will have a two year starter next to him at LG in Ross Piersbacher. That's a start. He excelled at RT with a revolving door at RG. But like you insinuated, LT is another beast altogether.

No way Auburn OL is better than Bama's. Our left side is handsdown the best in college and would be in top half of the NFL.
