Alabama : Tua, D. Harris, N. Harris, Jacobs
Auburn : Stidham, Cox, Martin
Georgia : Fromm, Swift, Holyfield, White
Mississippi State : Fitzgerald, Williams, Hill
Missouri : Lock, Witter, Rountree
South Carolina : Bentley, Dowdle, Turner
Texas A&M : Starkel, Williams, Bussey

Thoughts? How would you rank these? LSU is the obvious one I left off, but they are replacing QB and HB. Some pretty good experienced, talented combos.

Alabama and Georgia would be up top for me, hard to differentiate between them. Tua looked excellent in the second half of the NC but interested to see how he plays out over a full year with more film and game planning on him

Best Whirlybird player in Cox.. just might play action whirly and hit your linebacker between the numbers.

Wilkins was a senior. The starter will be Swinney or Pennaman. You probably didn't need to add us to your list of best backfields in 2018.

Ah, didn't realize that. Thought he was a Junior. Based on his year last year and the progress I figured he'd have a big 2018, but I guess the NCAA won't be allowing that.

Cox loves moving in and out of the backfield. You have to keep tabs on him because you never know if Cox is splitting out or penetrating himself right back into the backfield.

His name is Cox. Backfield. And Cox.

He was a RS Junior wasn't he? He was ineligible in 2016, so he should still have a year left to play

Does anybody besides UGA (and I guess LSU again) have a fullback?

I would like to see Alabama use a fullback occasionally. Nudie Fowler was so versatile. Kiffin moved him all over the place in 2014.

But it is hard to justify using a scholarship on someone you rarely employ in the game plan. Fowler was just a unique talent. Could play RB, FB, TE, h-back, etc.

The SEC is losing a ton of talent at RB, not returning a lot. off the top of my head, all these players are seniors or juniors who have declared or are expected to:
Guice
Chubb
Michele
Pettway
K Johnson
Kelly
D Harris
B Scarborough

That's a whole lot of talent leaving in the same year
