15. Auburn

I'm not too shy about expressing my hatred for Auburn. But, I will say that Auburn's all whites are the cleanest combo in the SEC and that damn eagle on the video board for FGs should be allowed.

Yeah lsu deserves to be up there. I asked chatgpt and, while this will piss some off, don’t shoot the messenger

here’s an updated ranking of all 16 SEC football uniforms, from best to worst. This list considers tradition, aesthetic appeal, uniqueness, and fan perception.

?

?? 1. Texas Longhorns
• Look: Burnt orange + white = iconic, minimalistic perfection.
• Vibe: “Clean, classic, unmistakably Texas”
• Bonus: The Longhorn logo and white helmet are elite.

?

?? 2. LSU
• Look: White at home with gold pants = unique tradition.
• Vibe: “Southern royalty with attitude”
• Bonus: Alternate purples are fire.

?

?? 3. Alabama
• Look: Timeless crimson and white, minimal flair.
• Vibe: “If it ain’t broke, don’t touch it”
• Bonus: Numbers on the helmet are old-school cool.

?

4. Georgia
• Look: Bold red, black trim, silver pants.
• Vibe: “Classic, mean, SEC power”
• Bonus: Black alternates = intimidation.

?

5. Oklahoma Sooners
• Look: Crimson and cream — simple, traditional, and consistent.
• Vibe: “Quiet confidence with a storied legacy”
• Bonus: Clean font, no nonsense.

?

6. Florida
• Look: Orange and blue pop under the lights.
• Vibe: “Flashy, fast, fun — very Florida”
• Bonus: Gators script helmet = iconic.

?

7. Tennessee
• Look: Orange and white — polarizing but unique.
• Vibe: “Loud and proud, with Smokey grays when it counts”
• Bonus: Checkerboard end zone legacy adds swagger.

?

8. Auburn
• Look: Navy and burnt orange with classic striping.
• Vibe: “Solid tradition, nothing crazy”
• Bonus: Consistent, rarely misses.

?

9. Texas A&M
• Look: Maroon and white, clean with military roots.
• Vibe: “Old school meets discipline”
• Bonus: Subtle tweaks over years have refined the look.

?

10. Ole Miss
• Look: Red, navy, powder blue combo is solid.
• Vibe: “Southern charm with a hint of swagger”
• Bonus: Powder blue helmet = elite alternate.

?

11. Arkansas
• Look: Cardinal red + white, simple and tough.
• Vibe: “No frills, just hit people”
• Bonus: Razorback silhouette is unique.

?

12. South Carolina
• Look: Garnet and black is a sharp combo.
• Vibe: “Tough, but under-the-radar”
• Bonus: Throwbacks and alternates hit occasionally.

?

13. Mississippi State
• Look: Maroon and white — good, but unspectacular.
• Vibe: “Solid… just not exciting”
• Bonus: Some alternates look sharp, others overdo it.

?

14. Kentucky
• Look: Blue and white, checkerboard shoulders (meh).
• Vibe: “Basketball school energy on a football field”
• Bonus: Wildcat logo isn’t memorable.

?

15. Vanderbilt
• Look: Black and gold could be elite, but design falls flat.
• Vibe: “Country club in a biker jacket”
• Bonus: Helmet and jersey fonts are hit-or-miss.

?

16. Missouri
• Look: Lots of variation, no consistent identity.
• Vibe: “Football witness protection program”
• Bonus: Sometimes great, often forgettable.

Carolina's been all over the place with Under Armour - but they finally got something right in 2024 with the throwback to Big George years tribute -

Block C on the white helmet finally was enlarged enough to make an impact - and the stripes and 2 stars were that of 1980 -

the font on the jersey ditched Eric Hyman's terrible "machine font" and returned to the traditional CAROLINA on the jersey -

the numbers on the sleeves and thicker jersey numbers were an improvement -

stripes on the pants were also an improvement -

>

the 1980 white helmet needs to be a staple -

The three worst uniforms in the conference would look better if they just went back to what they wore in the 80s.....

Missouri -

Mississippi State -

Texas A&M -

2) Red River

3) Battle of the Boot

4) Cocktail Party

Concur with A&M. I've hated them ever since watching my first Hogs game (that I remember) way back in like 85 or so. I was too young to know or care much about football itself. All I remember was thinking that those uniforms were the ugliest "clothes" I had ever seen. Have not liked A&M at all ever since.

I've always liked LSU, Florida, and Auburn the most.

But actually, I think most uniforms now are looking pretty good. The only problem I can think of is the blob of red colored teams and some of them haven't differentiated themselves adequately. Short of that, it's all pretty good.

Who looks at a color wheel and sees Maroon, and says to himself. ? Yep. That's it right there. That's the one that will be our team colors.

It's like you people don't understand that these rankings aren't up for debate. They're official rankings. They are what they are.

Anything with the piggies in the top 5 is a crap list, unless the list is ranked by crap.
