you're just pissed he didn't commit to Auburn.. He led the SEC in rushing and all purpose yards through most of the season before tailing off a little. He's not wasted talent, and will be a beast next year.

He was also committed to Auburn until Tubs got canned.

Travis Minor's tapes made Noel Devine look like he was running in slow motion. They were insane.

What will end up being a 3,000 + yard rushing career = wasted?

He's going to easily own the career all-purpose yardage record @ MSU as well. Hardly a bust.

Solid year, but I really think the kid is one of top RB's in the country. He'll blow up the NFL provided he doesn't get injured.

You don't know what you are talking about. He will not be an every down back at the next level. He's a scat back. The thing preventing him from entering the elite category of RBs in the SEC is that he doesn't fall forward on contact. Almost always gets upended. That's often the 1-2 yards that makes a difference.

Another thing -- he gets run down from behind in the open field. He's got great acceleration, but lacks on top end speed. This is different from Ballard -- who wasn't as quick in the first 5-10 yards, but was faster once he hit the open field and Dixon -- who could be caught, but was tough as hell to tackle for the people that could actually run him down...

I'm partial to 2012 MSU S signee Quandry Antoine. Coaches have caught hell trying to get him to dial it back at all in practice. Natural headhunter from the S position. Since he doesn't play for Bama, he probably has a couple of SEC suspensions in his future. His hits are worth flags for the message they send -- not worth suspensions however.

Seastrunk or Devine on offense. Clowney on defense. Powell for Florida had a nice one too.
