Yes more than 16 UF/Bama players will go pro this year.

Not in 2010.

I'll start with Bama as I'm confident in those

1 Cody
2 McClain
3 J. Jones
4 M. Ingram
5 T. Richardson
6 J. Arenas (might fall to 2nd)
7 M. Barron
8 M. Johnson
9. D. Hightower (sadly on the sidelines)

UF (the easy ones)

1 Tebow
2 Spikes
3 Haden
4 Dunlap (inelligible)

I'm not sure about
Pouncey Twins
Cunnigham
A. Hernandez
The rest of their loaded DBs will all get drafted

I think it is very reasonable to believe that of the two combined rosters up to 15 will go in the first round of the draft in the next few years.

Really I could be lowballing.

Drafted in 2010

1 Mike Johnson
2 Drew Davis
3 Colin Peek
4 T. Cody
5 R. McClain
6 B. Deaderick
7 J. Arenas
8 K. Jackson
9 L. Tiffin

UF
1. Tebow
2. A Hernandez
3. Riley Cooper
4. Joe Haden
5. Brandon Spikes
6. C. Dunlap
7. Cunningham
8. M. Pouncey

I mean really this isn't a stretch easily more than 16 get drafted.

Htown I'll offer a bet:

If 16 or more Bama + UF get drafted your sig quote will read...

"JB Bama knows more about NFL Talent than I do and I'm a fool for arguing with him"

If 15 or less get drafted my sig will read

"I'm a delusional Bama fan clouded by a lust for Saban and not nearly as educated as HTown Tiger."

reasonable only to a Bama homer that clearly doesn't follow the NFL draft. Only the first 3, maybe, for Bama are first rounders right now. Cody is locked in at NT for a 3-4. Jones in inconclusive at this point. Its way to early to say about the Ingram and stupid to say Richardson. fewer and fewer RB's go inthe first, there is nothing super special about either aside from the fact they play for Bama. Ingram deserves Heisman hype, that does not mean first round.

Its doubtful Tebow goes in the first, Haden, Spikes and Dunlap will. Hernandez and Cooper

Really you could not be a bigger homer.

Settle down Forrest, you edited to add the bet. Are you saying 16 first rounders or overall? I'd take the bet if its first round, but we'd have to wait until 2013 for me to win. When all is said and done there will be more than 16 drafted, shite LSU had 10-15 guys that will get drafted in the next 3-4 years.

ETA: There will not be 16 first rounders from this game in next years draft, I promise you, but I did book mark this thread

I will admit this may be one of the best match-ups the SEC has ever had.

Scouts Inc top 32 for the 2010 draft includes 4 players from the Bama and Florida. Note this does not mean more won't be draft in the first round (or less), this list also includes Jrs, some of which might go back and is a ranking of players, not necessarily a draft pick.

I don't think anyone will argue that this is ONE of the best SEC match-ups ever. But ever, of any league?

Arrakis yes I think between Alabama and Florida 16 players or more will be drafted.

Not worth making a bet that spans 4 years for 1st round picks but I believe Bama + UF will put 15+ off their respective rosters.

I will make a bet for this season Bama + UF putting in 16 or more.

I think we've made history with this thread. 9 pages started by a gump and only 3 or 4 other gumps have replied in his defense.

That should tell you something JB.

I don't gamble, but I do support charities. How about the loser contribute $2000 to the winner's favorite legit charity....examples: American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

Proof of donation is posted on the forum.

If, in the 2010 NFL Draft, 16 or more from the AL and FL roster are drafted, you win. If not, I win.

I'm in....are you?

Oh yeah by the way...

AU - UF, 1983.

Over 50 (52 to be precise) players on those two rosters SIGNED NFL contracts (not just went to NFL camps).

The runningbacks:

AU: Bo Jackson, Tommie Aggee, Lionel James, Brent Fullwood (maybe the greatest collection on one college team at 1 time).

UF: John L Williams, Lorenzo Hampton, Neal Anderson. THREE NUMBER 1 DRAFT PICKS in their backfield.

Look gump, please get your head out of your arse.
