I know this tune well but never knew it's name until now.
I would have said it was "Texas Fight" but that is the name of the one played after a horn score, right?

The war chant in person is insane...might be the most boring and it is constantly done..like 50 times a game it seems.

In person
War Chant most annoying and overdone
Rocky Top is next
Boomer Sooner is third
Total hell would be when 2 of these teams are playing each other and both have their full bands.
Heavy drinking should be encouraged to be there

It is. Rocky Top is the unofficial fight song.

Auburn's Glory Glory is much better than UGA's.

Flat tops, overalls, and male cheerleaders are not SEC, neither are midnight cult rallies where everyone hugs each other sober let alone hugs. Don’t forget that we arrived here before Aggie and you were still a “larger” school then (but less to show). You’ve done very very well lately (against us in football and closing the gap in other sports) but historically you have never even been in the same league as Arkansas in sports, let alone Texas.

I'm a musician so I'm coming from a neutral place in saying this. Fight songs should be peppy, energetic and original. Michigan, Auburn, Notre Dame and Mississippi State have those! Those are the best in the country, imo.

The strange thing is that LSU adopted Tiger Rag as as their fight song in 1926. So they had a fight song written by a group of Black dudes in 1926... but wouldn't allow a Black player on their team for another 45 years.
the strange thing is that's not LSU's fight song either
LSU plays a derivation of Tiger Rag immediately after scoring a TD. This is the actual fight song "Fight for LSU." This is played by the band right after the aforementioned Tiger Rag derivation.
