#10 - Garnet & Black (South Carolina colors are the closest to what their actual mascot shares, looks so good)
I used to push hard for a little Emerald green to be added ... maybe a helmet, or sleeves, or stripes.
Then we'd have all the true Gamecock colors ... fighting red jungle foul colors. Prehistoric fighting bird colors.

Are you blind?
That’s not yellow. It’s true gold

Auburn has the best unis in the SEC.

Personally, I like cardinal and white for many reasons, not just because I’m a Razorback fan. Not sure if that combo is the best but our uniforms now are clean and classy and I hope they stay that way.
On the flip side is red and black. They are just too stark and overbearing. When Arkansas throws in some stupid combination of cardinal and black or anthracite it makes me ill. Kind of like SC’s colors and uniforms. They’re g-d awful no matter how they try to dress them up. Along with the cock stuffed inside the C logo, it’s a horrible combination. Sorry, just my opinion.
Georgia’s red and black are a little better with the silver britches and at least the logo is clean and a great brand.
OU’s colors and unis are essentially the same as Arkansas so I’m partial to them. Their paper clip logo is clean but lacking. Bama is similar but the unis are dull, classic, but dull. No logo on unis is okay I guess.
The maroon and white of Mississippi State and A&M seem almost identical. They are okay but not my favorite. The occasional gray stripe here and there don’t do either of them any favors.
Texas and Tennessees orange and white are classy, especially the all white unis with white helmets. Versions of Tennessee with black or anthracite are pitiful.
The blue and white of UK is pretty boring but the same could be said for other two colored schools like mine. I’m just not a royal blue fan. When they add black, it’s terrible.
Auburns combo of navy and orange is a great look and they don’t go all wild with changes every few years. The only thing I like about the tigers.
Unfortunately, Florida picked the wrong orange and blue and no matter how they try to put their unis together, they look cheap as heck ……. Howard Johnson would be proud. Worst combination in the SEC though their unis beat USCs in style.
Mizzou’s yellow and black are not bad for the most part but I’m a Steeler’s fan and that explains some of it. Their logo shows little imagination though.
Vanderbilt’s black and gold aren’t high on my list and the uni combinations they come up with are second rate.
I’m a big fan of the red, white and blue, and Ole Miss combinations (especially the powder blue) are outstanding. The Ole Miss signature logo is classic.
Last but not least is LSU. Hate to admit it but the purple and yellow are excellent together and fit the makeup of the whole Mardi Gras/New Orleans area. The unis don’t change much but don’t need too. They are classic.
In summary (including branding/logos and unis, not just colors):
1. LSU
2. Ole Miss
3. Arkansas
4. Oklahoma
5. Texas
6. Auburn
7. Tennessee
8. Kentucky
9. Missouri
10. Alabama
11. Mississippi State
12. Texas A&M
13. Georgia
14. Vanderbilt
15. Florida
16. South Carolina

Heel boy,
No complaint my friend just an observation which is spot on.
You know what they say about assumptions.
By the way... this topic is discussed every year....

How would you rate the color combinations for the teams?
In my unbiased opinion.

Florida's blue on blue with the orange helmet is the best looking uniform in the conference.
Im not a big fan of a lot of orange, it should be just an secondary color like Auburn uses it. Red and black is classic but not special, blue, crimson, maroon, garnet and gray or white are plain. Purple and yellow is a good combination. black and gold is OK.
So my ranking is:
1) Florida
2) LSU
3) Auburn
4) Georgia
5-14) The rest
Again, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Alabama? Half the teams in the country are red and white. Should be at the bottom.
But we are NOT red and white, we are crimson and white. Crimson and red are not the same color, yes they are in the same wheel house, but not the same color.
That's like saying GA's colors, which I like red and black combo, are pink and gray. Or that South Carolina colors are gray and red.

I like them all, but the red stripe on the Ole Miss helmet is cool, and while I am biased LSU’s traditional uniform with the white shirt, has to be the most easily recognized uniform there is. Just a glimpse is all one needs to identify who it is. I won’t try to rank because every school has at least one uniform combination that looks cool
