Exactly. I’m sure some sort of weird thing rarely seen in CFB will happen as the game wears on.

LSU needs an offensive line, if one shows up we have a good chance if not the defense better be lights out.
Good point.
Sometimes the O-line plays out of their minds and other times they struggle mightily due to lack of depth.

Should have won last time at Auburn. If not for a brain fart delay of game

Lsu's offense was better last year. They had at least the "threat" of completing some passes.
The auburn team LSU beat in September was not even close to the auburn they became in late October,November. Stidham didn't have a grasp on the system in Sept. Had that game been at Jordan hare or later in the year, auburn puts 40 on the board and routs LSU.
U also can count on some shite like LSU is about the go up by fourteen with 40 seconds left, an LSU running back breaks free in the secondary, his knee knocks the ball out of his own hands at the one, an aubie Defensive player picks it up and runs it back 99 yards with seconds to play. Then on the tying extra point LSU blocks it only to have auburns kicker pick it up as all 11 LSU players cramp up at once and the kicker runs in the two pointer for the win.

Auburn has a veteran QB and a 2nd year coordinator.
LSU has a new QB (not necessarily a negative) and new and much maligned offensive coordinator.

Well, that was the first time I ever felt fantastic leaving Tiger Stadium after the opponent "killed" LSU.

Posted this awhile back, but it bears repeating:
quote:Outside of Sullivan, none of the players mentioned above will be involved in Saturdays game at Jordan-Hare.
D.J. Chark returned a punt 75 yards for a touchdown, Connor Culp kicked field goals of 42 and 36 yards inside the final three minutes, and LSU erased a 20-point deficit on its way to a 27-23 victory over No. 10 Auburn on Saturday.
Russell Gage made a diving 14-yard touchdown reception and had a 70-yard run that set up another TD in the first half, when LSU closed to 23-14 to set up a tense finish.
Arden Key's sack of Jarrett Stidham with 2 seconds left squelched Auburn's last hope of an improbable comeback, sending the volume in Tiger Stadium about as high as it has been this season despite an unusual number of empty seats visible for a competitive SEC game.
After LSU quarterback Danny Etling kneeled to end it, LSU players streamed wildly onto the field and then ran toward the corner of the end zone closest to their locker room to acknowledge the school's frenzied student section.
Derrius Guice rushed for 71 hard yards for LSU, including a crucial third-down conversion in which he ran through a tackler at the first-down marker, setting up the go-ahead field goal.
Etling finished 13 of 24 for 206 yards and one TD. Chark had 150 yards receiving on five catches. Stephen Sullivan scored LSU's opening TD on a fourth-down end around from a yard out.

Why does Oregano get paid so much? Seriously no one else gonna hire him.
Supply n demand. Oregano doesn’t supply much to programs and he’s not in demand. Seriously 3.5m a year???

LSU has a similar shitty offense last year and still bested auburn
LSU had Darius Guice, DJ Chark, and an accurate QB last year
This year you have none of those, and in their places are steaming piles of shite

LSU won that game on big plays on a 70 yard WR run and the punt return TD
Who made those two plays?

Two great defenses, two questionable offenses

Stidham and just out top 3 WRs alone would have more talent than LSU's whole offense combined

For like a quarter.
Our Defense is significantly better than last years, and you can’t keep stidiham upright again.
I dont Think anyone’s getting run out of anything.

Fan ratioanalization is fun to read.,,,and absolutely meaningless.
This game will be about matchups and mistakes.
Crucial calls and missed assignments. Inches and yards. Officials and coaches. Decisions on mattters we have yet to see.
Not even the most sophisticated models can take all those variables and name a winner beforehand with certainty. That’s why we will all be glued to TV or in JH to see.

Best assessment I have read on this game. I agree completely.

Who was this QB you are talking about? Surely it’s not Mr. 9 for 26
