Besides being at home, what makes this Auburn-LSU game different from last year?

LSU has a similar shitty offense last year and still bested auburn

This year they have an ever better defense to smother Auburn

LSU 20
Auburn 13

I think both defenses are better this year. I don't see either team running the ball effectively on the other. I expect less than half the points scored last year.

insightful analysis

just cancel the game and give LSU the W

LSU scored more points than Auburn 3 years in a row, but this year will be different because Auburn can't lose!!!

Never thought of it this way. Guess I’m gonna change my prediction to LSU now. Thanks

We killed y’all last year. Complete brain fart in the second half doesn’t change that.

You are going to get run out the stadium.

I feel like Auburn is due for a win in the series.

Hard to believe Auburn has beaten LSU only 3 times starting in 2007. But Auburn has won the lost 2 in Auburn. They are a 10 point favorite for a reason. Vegas isn't sold on LSU.

Guice wasn’t completely healthy and had a pretty meh game. LSU won that game on big plays on a 70 yard WR run and the punt return TD

Actually it does change that. LSU abused Stidham

Two great defenses, two questionable offenses

This is the least confident I've been in an LSU-Barn matchup since last year. That means we gonna roll

Auburn has looked a little better this season. Its at home they should be favored.

LSU needs an offensive line, if one shows up we have a good chance if not the defense better be lights out.

Well, last year in baton rouge, we were up 20-0 when Gus decided to run the ball up the middle on 1st down literally every single possession until the very last possession when we were losing. Every. Single. One. He really did essentially completely shut the offense down and LSU knew it, the fans knew it, everyone knew it. And by knew it I mean knew he was just going to rely on the D to hold on.

And the D would have held on long enough if not for a punt return for a td and 70 yard pass.

Which brings me to two points.

1. There is no way in hell we try and sit on any lead this year. Gus was a frog hair from getting canned for that last year.

2. We are not playing in baton rouge

No tiger stadium
No Matt Canada
No Darius Guice

Stidham has 12 more starts under his belt.
