Benefits to having OU in the SEC:

1. We won't have to hear from them anymore that the SEC is overrated and the BigXll is the tits.
2. We get two of America's finest and most cosmopolitan bastions if culture in Tulsa and OKC.
3. The BigXII might fold leaving Texas scrambling to find a conference that wants them and all the baggage they bring.
4. After a trip to Norman for a game, any other fan base's rude and obnoxious behavior will pale in comparison, reducing the effect on your blood pressure, thus theoretically extending your life.

I'm open to Oklahoma joining.
Move Auburn over the the East and then let OU and OK State join the West.
If you've ever been to Oklahoma City or Tulsa, you'll see they are really just an extension of the South. It's a combination of Texas and the Deep South actually. I like the state, and the people are always very friendly.

Yes, Oklahoma has a well rounded and fantastic Athletic Department. But the SEC is big enough as it is. Y'all for better or worst are joined to Texas at the hip

Add Clemson and OU to get to 16. Make OU and Mizzou in the west and auburn and Clemson in the east

Oklahoma also helps the SEC claim the Meth heartland once and for all. Arkansas and Missouri aren't enough for us to call ourselves the Meth conference of America.
