There is no “I told you so”. Anderson improved the program from where it was. We fired him at a good spot and was warranted. Everyone at Arkansas likes Mike, but he wasn’t getting the job done on the level we wanted. Missouri has sucked since. I don’t get the melt other than y’all had a coach that left your program and you’re salty about it 8 years later.

Well you forgot the whole part where every Arkansas fan said he’d do more at Arkansas than he did at Mizzou. Other than that being completely wrong, y’all nailed it.

Both sides were wrong, which makes starting this thread typical dumb Rant postings.

or your fans that said you'd be better off without him. A lot of bad taeks to go around. He's been gone from your school for 8 years, he's now gone from ours, so who really gives a shite anymore?

I guess it's a matter of perception on if he really improved the program. I venture over to the Arky board on a regular basis because I enjoy hanging with them. Nonetheless, there is quite a few complaining about numerous issues with him. From terrible recruiting, to not adapting his coaching style, to not knowing what he is doing in game. I'm trying to stay neutral in this, but I will say Mike got some justice served his way. Not for leaving Mizzou, but the cowardly way he went about it.

Sure, he has major issues but there is no question we are better off after his tenure than before. We were really bad off so its not like that is a crazy feat but it is true.

lol you guys replaced him with a coach that left his previous school right before an NCAA investigation. Spare me the sanctimonious BS please.

Eh. That was overblown. It wasn’t that different on the final execution than most coaching changes. He did quit about halfway through the season and screwed us with the one elite recruit from the boot heel. But that’s just somewhat due to Mike Alden being almost impossible to work for on the basketball side, IMO.

Hopefully the Arkansas Poachers have turned from their covetous ways after Suitcase and Bert.

If that was sanctimonious, you’re a bit sensitive tonight.

Lat my good man, you have wanted him gone for many reasons, some of which I stated, I added justice was served from a Mizzou perspective, why do you insist on being on opposite sides of the fence?

Exactly. That's why we fired his arse. 3 is just not good enough. I'm not taking a swipe at Mizzou either. I know y'all expect better as well.

Justice served? LMAO, dude made millions, handled the program with compete integrity and class, straightened out our APR mess from Failprey, and just posted a very class video saying "Adios".

He did what we needed done, but we desire and deserve more now. Next coach up, get it done or Hunterearnedhischeck will fire his azz too.

Now, back to Cuonzo and Michael Sam, and shite swastikas...

I wanted him fired but you don’t have to clutch your pearls over something that happens every time a coach leaves a school. It’s a business, not personal. Mike’s a good guy, just didn’t work out.

He only had one slot, IIRC. Which was one major reason why the team he left was so good.
