He's just that "good". It takes a special kind of coach to make that happen.

Trying to get over injuries to starters, like Justin Garrett, Tray Matthews, Carl Lawson, Josh Holsey and TJ Davis. Josh Holsey is out for the season with an ACL tear, TJ Davis should return soon from an ACL tear (I'm skeptical), and the other 3 might be back this week but nobody is really saying.
I would buy your excuse if Auburn played anybody with an offense. But...

He's a terrible coach. He's hornswoggled, and bamboozled numerous high profile programs into hiring him.
Not to mentioned he's cursed, cursed I say.

You expect to give up 20 or points against an FCS team when Will Muschamp is in charge of the defense, not sure why getting lit up like that is surprising at Florida with better defensive talent he gave up at least 3 scores in half of the contests where he faced a FCS opponent.
2011: Furman- 32 points
2013: Georgia Southern: 26
2015: JSU- 20 Points
His last year at Texas his defenses (which were for the first time manned by primarily Muschamp recruits) gave up at least 28 points in all but two games.
He also had the worst single game defensively in Florida history with a defense that will probably end up sending half or more of its starters to the NFL.

The excuses have started.
Carl Lawson is one of the best defensive ends in the nation, Justin Garrett is our second best linebacker, Josh Holsey is a senior and was a starter in the slot (now true freshman Tim Irvin), TJ Davis was a senior cornerback, Blake Countess was a senior cornerback and Tray Matthews is a playmaker and our best player in the secondary.
Auburn was running 3 true freshmen in the secondary against Jacksonville State, and they shouldn't have been that successful, but they were. It is what it is.
I still expect gradual improvement as the season goes on unless injuries become a problem again.

I am not ragging on Muschamp but it does seem like he has a black cloud over his head. We always had lots of injuries when he was our coach. More than the usual amount.

Auburn is 12th in total defense and 11th in scoring defense in the SEC. It's going to be interesting to see how this great DC does the rest of the year .
I think he is a horrible HC and decent to good DC but nothing special like he is hyped up to be. But we will find out by the end of the year how good he is.

Whatever happened to the beating a dead horse emoji?

Who hired WM? Who didn't reign in UM or his players? Who has continuously made bad financial decisions repeatedly? Jeremy Foley. He is the one that created this disaster. He should of been fired with WM after 2013s season.

Run up the score on the team Jeff Sagarin ranks as the 137th best team in the country and barely beat the 74th rated ECU?
Kudos on another shite coach. He even melts down on the sideline like Boom.

You'd know a thing or 3 about shite coaches. We trust you.

If you knew anything about UF under Muschamp, you'd know the stuff where former players said that he over ruled offensive coordinators calls, told the offense to play for field position and try to pin the opponents near their goal line with a punt, and called offensive players in meeting rooms "fricking idiots" whenever they missed an assignment or made a mistake on the field.
What's the big deal here? You've just described Nick Saban.

McElwain is an offensive coach. Of course he can call plays on offense. He'll suck worse than Champ when he's done though

I don't think Barner is taught anywhere. It's passed on from the sister's mouth to the brother's mouth on the plains.
