I love visiting New Orleans, and my dad lived there for a while, but I'd much rather live in Huntsville or Mobile.

You aren't from LA., so it's hard to appreciate the culture when you're from another state and trying to defend that state. I get it.
Louisiana's culture is very unique. The food is amazing. The outdoors(hunting/fishing)second to none. We love our Saints and Tigers. The people are your atypical southerners in that they are very friendly but stick together and will get on your arse if you start shite with them. We drink a lot and often. And we LOVE to find excuses to party.
