Didn't you guys play at legion field for awhile? How does BDS have more history than TS? Please elaborate

We played at both Legion Field and Bryant-Denny. We also used to play in Mobile up until the late-50s and early-60s.

TS was around before BDS, has more history, is a more traditional college FB stadium and has gotten louder and more raucous than BDS could dream.

i thought it was referred to as BD-W b/c of our record playing there, not b/c of the things you listed

Those five years Tiger Stadium existed before BDS created more "history"?

How is it a "more traditional college FB stadium"? Does that include broken out windows, and being run down?

Why would BDS need to have created a "loudness factor" over the generations? We kicked the shite out everyone for so long, people expected to win on that field. There's a reason places like Ohio Stadium, Michigan Stadium, DKR Memorial, Oklahoma-Memorial, and BDS are not usually mentioned among the "loudest".

I think they were referring to our record against you there, but your interpretation made for a nice rant.

Last year at Bryant-Denny it was raining all over Tuscaloosa County except for over the stadium. The sun was shining and it was like Bear Bryant himself held back the clouds... it was a beautiful sight. It should be nicknamed "Holy Ground"

Would you rather have a winning tradition for over 100 years, or a spotty history and loud fans? But hell, it's not as if BDS doesn't get loud.

"winning tradition"

the true moniker of an insecure fan base that has no culture to lean on

What's the big deal with being the loudest? I'd rather be the best... it was plenty loud at Jordan-Hare until Upchurch caught that pass

I thought that was Neyand.

You could always call BDS "The Zoo" since that is where most elephants are found in the States. Either that or "The Circus" but that would have fit in better in the years between Stalling and Saban.

College football can only truly be appreciated when you have to dodge falling pieces of concrete and jagged glass while you walk to your seats in an ugly arse stadium that you try to justify by saying "it has character". Duh.

O come on now Rohan! Let's not be mean! I've experienced the "culture" of Louisiana first hand on Bourbon street and ya'll aren't breaking into the tea and crumpets set anytime soon!

Are you fricking kidding me? No culture. What the hell was LSU leaning on in the 90s with seven losing seasons? What the hell was LSU leaning on from 1959-1999?
