I really don't understand why the pressure to put a playoff in place is more urgent now than ever. Didn't the BCS work? Didn't the two best teams play? Didn't the best team win?
Don't tell me Ok.St. deserves a shot. We all know about the unforgetable lose at Iowa St. And let's see, didn't the Big 12 (a.k.a. Texas' bitches) want to go down to 10 teams so they wouldn't have to play a championship game this year. How did that work out of them?
The only playoff system one should argue for this year would be for LSU / Bama to play a deciding third game.
But then again, I think JJ would still have eligibility, so never mind. One good arse kicking on the national stage is enough.

Does anyone doubt that LSU and Bama are not the two best teams? Arkansas is #5 and look what we both did to them.

I'm conflicted on one hand playoff means Arkansas = no championship ever (realistically)or at least the odds go way down. On the other hand I'm tired of all the bitching from the mid majors saying we deserve it and want to see them crushed first round every time.

I don't begrudge Bama for being in the game.
The only thing that kinda rubbed me the wrong way was the public disclcosure of the faction of Coaches and human poll voters in the BCS who voted Oklahoma State FIFTH OR SIXTH ??????? WFT ???
If just those goofballs had voted correctly - that is OSU 3rd or even 4th, it may have been a totally different game.
How is that a certain few people who have bizarre opinions (OSU SIXTH ???? Reeeeeelly ???) are allowed to fix who is in the NC game ???????

SEC has been pushing for some form of playoff for years. It looks like we had to have an all SEC Championship game to convince the rest of the conferences of what we already knew was the truth.
