Texas Tech would be grumpy

Gimmie that system vs the non sense that will unfold today.

"They should decide it on the field"

They already did for 4 months.

And now they’ll have to earn it again and again.

This is what you retarded folk all said you wanted

“Muh … there should be a tournament in football like there is in basketball…”

Agreed. I think it's a far better system to have 2 rock solid worthy teams who won their way in and occasionally leave out a team who has a decent argument (like Texas Tech this year)

The current system punishes the top finishing teams like Indiana and Georgia, who clearly earned their shot, and lets in a bunch of trash who have no business being there.

When you have 3-4'ish actual legit contenders, 2 spots is fine.

Expanding to 12 spots is not fair to the teams at the top who earned it. They now have to run a gauntlet they've already ran and won.

There will be 12 teams in the field and 7 or 8 of them have absolutely no business out there.

4 was fine, but honestly even that produced mostly duds in the first round

The less the chance the truly best team actually wins the NC.

The masses want bread and circuses and when that doesn't satisfy, they want more bread and circuses.

We are where we are because of our very own human nature. We've all played a part in it.

Had to give the duds a chance though. Without that, Ohio State (who truly deserved it in 2014) wouldn't have claimed the prize.

Life twists and turns.
