Haters gonna hate. I think you are right.
The SEC usually has 2 BCS teams so the remaining bowls start with pick 3.
So Cap 1 usually gets #3 SEC team versus Big 10 #2.
It glides down from there.
#4 SEC plays #2 B12 in Cotton
#5 SEC plays #3 B10 in OB
#6 SEC plays #2 ACC in CFB
and so on and so forth.
Huge misconception here. The B1G has had more BCS appearances than the SEC I'm pretty sure, although it's close.
The BIG 3 and 4 and the Big 12 2 or 3 usually play the SEC 3,4, and 5

The CFA has usually been a match-up of the #2 ACC team vs the #4-5 SEC team...

The Big Ten has 26 appearances and the SEC has 25.
However, the SEC is 17-8 and the Big Ten is 12-14. In fact, Ohio State has the only winning record in BCS bowls for the Big Ten.

When compared to the previous all-time stats, then it would appear that expansion has been good to the SEC in terms of competitiveness.

Big 10 has more by a game maybe? Although the SEC has a far better winning percentage.

Not me but I follow the team. Coach Dinardo winning 3 in a row should get a lot of credit amongst the faithful.

I was only pointing out that usually the teams in the Cap1 and Outback are "evenly" matched 2 v 2 or 3 v 3 or whatever.
Yes I fully know the B1G isn't as good, but they bring in the most money so they get the most bids often

This "most money" has led to exactly one more BCS bid. Okay.

Gator Bowl SEC #6 Big Ten #4/5
AutoZone Liberty Bowl C-USA #1 SEC #7/8
Chick-fil-A Bowl ACC #2 SEC #5
Music City Bowl ACC #6 SEC #7/8
BBVA Compass Bowl Big East #5 SEC #9
And this one, is usually SEC 4 or so, since they've been getting so many BCS bowls and lower teams have gotten to go:
Capital One Bowl Big Ten #2 SEC #2
ditto this one
Outback Bowl Big Ten #3 SEC #3/4

You look quite butthurt since I was clarifying something else.
It is a FACT that the B1G has more BCS bids and a FACT that they bring in the most money
It is also a FACT they aren't as good in football as the SEC

We finished 3rd in the West in 2010, got the co-Champion of the Big Ten and beat them 49-7. They had -70 yards of rushing at one point. We knocked out three QBs.

And that was a travesty for BSU...very sad for CFB, imo.

...if you're talking about Michigan/VaTech. BSU/Baylor would have been great.

I believe his point is that a one game advantage is hardly a gap to make such a distinction over, that you are trying to make.
It looks as if you are trying too hard is all.
