Dave has said several times that he doesn’t want the big spotlight and likes where he is because of that and his classes at Baylor don’t show that he’s interested in the big-time recruiting game. I liked him for this job, but to be honest, Kelly is a better fit because of these things. Recruiting in the 20s and 30s is fine if you are Leach at State, but that approach isn’t going to fly at any of the top SEC programs.
