I’m with you though, this is not called enough. Guy just throws a guy off, and it’s ignored.

They changed the rule to where you have to be completely set when the offensive player leaves their feet. So unless it’s obvious, they won’t get called. Makes for a cleaner game imo instead of officials butchering the call every time

Yes, but now some team fans keep bitching about the refs this season bc they don’t understand drivers are being rewarded with more trips to the line with the rule change.

The new rule made charges almost impossible this year.

The Arkansas flop king ruined charges for everyone. It’s a shame.

This. You see it all the time. Pushes defender off to get a step. Drives to basket and gets fouled and shoot free throws. The guy shooting free throws should be the one with the foul.
