Tbh, I don’t know how good Alabama baseball will turn out before seasons end but I do like the fact you have improved. Jim Wells was probably your best baseball coach in history and he won a lot of games there. It was a lot more fun playing Bama those years because two solid coaches on both sides took the field every series.

It’s between Barry Shollenberger and Jim Wells. Both have a World Series runner up. 1983 and 1997 respectively.
Bohannon is building. We are pretty damn young but not sure that’s an excuse. The recruiting has been great. Waiting for the payoff.

It’s likely coming. Alabama seems to be putting a lot of stock into all athletics now. Just don’t get TOO GOOD ‘cause MSU is used to getting a solid recruit or two from your state every year.
ETA: Not sure if you remember a guy named Jeff Butts out of Alabama but I think he was highly recruited and was a big part of Miss State winning the Sec tourney championship in 2005 . He was outstanding even on our way to that game.

Don’t recall the Butts guy. And I was in school then. And Alabama was still a damn good baseball program then.
