Seems the Vols have their swagger back after the rebuilding year they had last year. Last year team was Vitello best job coaching yet, and was simply amazing they even got to Omaha last year with every they lost the year prior by having to replace every starter.

This year team appears to be one of Vitellos most talented roster offensively since arriving in Knocksville. This year team is already start ing to draw comparisons to that 2022 team that won 57 games, that most baseball experts thinks is one of the top baseball teams in college history.

2022 team going into SEC play
15-1
2024 team going into SEC play
17-1(I expect Vols win midweek game)

This year team is being lead by Amick and Burke, and they both are playing really good right now.

Billy Amick is #2 in country in HR’s(9) only trialing Charlie Condon of UGA.

Blake Burke is #4 in the country in doubles (11).

I know some of yall are gonna say, “well Vols play on a small field”. Well Amick and Burkes HR’s are all over 400 feet with the exception of a couple. The Vols have hit homeruns in every game this year, including in the tournament that was held at a Major League Baseball stadium. If the pitching holds up, we could witness history this year.

Your repeated lack of an ‘s is sort of odd.

It's hard to type and flip whoppers at the same time. Corners have to be cut.

Tennessee not sucking arse in the postseason would be historic.

Wouldn’t be making it to Omaha 3 out of 4 years be a pretty reasonable amount of postseason success? Making it to Omaha is kinda like making a Final Four in basketball, right?

Obviously winning it all would be great, but making it to Omaha is kind of the benchmark of a very successful baseball season.
