Southern had the more deserving regular season. I personally don’t think Tennessee’s one win against Clemson should be the trump card. Facility wise there’s not much of a difference either, particularly in terms of size.

I get the case for UT but feel like USM should get the nod.

I suspect quite a few coaches are not fond of the Tennessee coach as are a few ADs.

Whoever has the highest bid should be interesting to see who pays up

Southern Miss is most likely getting the bid. And I’m ok with it. It takes the pressure off the Vols. They have proven they can win on the road and that Clemson win really gives them momentum.

They have proven they can win on the road? I believe they had the worst road record in the SEC? Are you saying that because they just beat Clemson and charlotte?

I know someone close to the Southern Miss program. They have been told that they will host.

Hope you're right. It would be great to let Coach Berry have one last series at home.

Hattiesburg is a ghetto and shouldn’t be hosting anything.

Warren Nolan seems to agree that USM will host..

Link: Hattiesburg

But the TCU vs ISU is wrong.. unless ISU is the home team at TCU, which is likely.

All kidding aside how the hell does Stanford get bid. That stadium sucks balls

Watching that game and seeing the crowd was depressing. Nothing compares to SEC baseball venues.

Is this based off of this past weekend in the Regionals?

Have you looked at your road record from the regular season?

Hattiesburg is a ghetto? Guess you learn something every day.

Now do Baton Rouge.

BTW, someone in the Auburn AD's office just texted me and said Southern Miss is hosting.

Compared to Baton Rouge?

Wouldn’t let my kid go to LSU. She has the green light for USM

When equal seeds are competing for the host, I'm pretty sure this is what decides it.

Baton Rouge has an SEC school steeped in baseball tradition.

Hattiesburg has a large community college.
