Congrats, LSU on not getting swept. Now with that being said. Come on Ole Piss sick it up and get at least one win at home against MSU. This is same team we swept and y'all are on the verge of getting swept. Doesn't matter though all we have to do is keep winning series and the Hogs will have a much deserved SEC West championship.

I learned this tonight. MSU is only the 7th team to win 4 road series since the early 1990’s. That’s what Richard Cross said.

Gonna go out on a limb and guess that most of the 6 others were Skip LSU teams.

That's quite a feat. I heard him say it, as well.

This MSU team has been very impressive and probably isn't receiving the respect it deserves right now, imo. I really hope they face Vandy in Hoover, because that would be a great game.

I can tell you right now and I heard it from someone who would know. If MSU locks up an 8 seed we do not plan on using up arms to go deep into the Sec tourney. It’s come back to bite us too often and we are not deep in pitching. The bullpen has gotten better and we have found several jewels but not going to worry about the Sec tourney going deep.

And I actually like this Lemonis approach. It’s new and refreshing.

Yea, that approach makes sense. The SECT is only good for bragging purposes around here.

You know, it just occurred to me that we've won 3 road series, and play @Texas A&M next, so we have a chance to win 4 road series, as well.

I wonder if there's ever been 2 teams to do it in the same season? Vanderbilt's already lost 2 this season, so they won't join us.

Ironically, we didn't win a single road series last year.

That is really impressive, especially with how competitive the conference is this year. I suspect that 2013 Vandy is the last team to do that when they went 14-1 on the road in conference.

I really hope we get 4 national seeds this year because we really deserve that many with how good the conference is.

For teams like Arkansas, Vandy, State, and UGA it only makes sense to keep your weekend starters on their regular rest days. Teams that need to make a push, like an LSU, Tennessee, or Auburn will likely throw weekend guys towards the first part of the tourney. Similar set up as mid week games versus mid majors. A lot of times in the SEC Tourney, you don't have best on best like you do in the regular season or NCAA Regionals.

Arkansas has 4 road series wins already....@Southern Cal, @Alabama, @Auburn, and @Kentucky. @aTm would be road series win #5 on the year(if Arkansas can pull that one out).

Carolina & Vanderbilt both did it in 2011.

Gamecocks - won series at UF(2-1), TN(3-0), MSU(2-1), ALA(2-1) / dropped series at OM(1-2)

Commodores - won series at ARK(2-1), AUB(3-0), UK(2-1), UGA(2-1) / dropped series at USC(1-2)

impressive feat - congrats to State and would love to see the Hogs join them this season.

eta - 2013 Vanderbilt won all 5 of their road series sweeping 3-0 at AUB, OM, UK - winning a shortened series at USC 2-0 - as well as winning series in Athens 2-1.

Sure enough, but we were talking about SEC-only road series. Apparently MSU is only the 7th team to ever win 4 road SEC series.
