Exactly.
I’ve already seen multiple people on here plus a number of Vol Twitter guys claiming Condon carried us to a super regional.
Not only is it impossible for any baseball player to “carry” any baseball team in the traditional sense of the word, we led the SEC in OPS as a team.
The team is still loaded.

It’s way easier to be lazy and pretend in May that we just exceeded expectations than it is to actually look at our roster and make an objective assessment in January. Those that have (ex. Joe Healy and Mark Etheridge of D1Baseball and Highway to Hoover) actually see us as an Omaha contender.

I'm afraid too many posters around here don't seem to understand.
It is Texas baseball birthright to finish #1 in conference. Are we confused about this? It's like all y'all just took up following college baseball or something.

Read today that Auburn's #2 starter is a transfer from LSU, Sam Dutton.
Dutton was probably the 12th best pitcher for LSU last season, and his roster spot at LSU was in jeopardy. Not a good sign for Auburn if he is in the rotation.

Always funny when people try to dunk on me when UGA loses in football or basketball like I said we were gonna win the natty this year. I’m perpetually negative.
Said we’d go 10-2 in football this year. I said we would miss the tournament when we were a projected a 7 seed.
As for baseball, you never know how a season will go. All I’m saying is that our preseason record is justified on paper and people who are saying we will suck are just lazy
