We know where we are, beginning anew. But our recruiting has never been under Mizzou with a true HC.. (John Smile Smith doesnt count, lol).

Yes I know but Mizzou still beat Arkansas. Last year was a warning sign that Odom was close to giving the game to Arkansas. Also with his usual losses to teams he should have won easily. And the other issue was that Some schools did not allow coaches from Mizzou to talk to the recruits at their schools in St. Louis and ESL. That is when some administration stepped down and Odom was fired at the end of the regular season. This new HC have now been allowed to talked to recruits to schools that were blocked before Odom was fired. This will help Mizzou from now on! That is the missing key why Mizzou failed to locked down recruits from in-State. Truest me next year Drinkwitz shall get some of the top recruits and then will locked down even more top recruits as the years go by. That is why it is very important and great news for Mizzou and Drinkwitz.

Odom is a GREAT defensive mind and as a former MU football player and fellow Alumni, I wish him nothing but the best (unless he is playing his alma-matter)...

HOWEVER, without reading the article I find it very hard to believe that he turned down LSU, who is 10x better than the hogs, and a substantial downgrade from MU??
