It's 100% false, too. I can guarantee you he wasnt contacted. Ever. Closest thing to that was Barnes heard about the leaked "4 million" Arkansas was offering potentially, and Barnes is his own agent. So he used it. The fact that Vols BELIEVE him is hysterical. How ignorant, gullible, and pompous AF of them.

I really couldnt care less if we went after him, which I doubt we did, and I am happy that we got Musselman. Once a lot of us heard and started doing research, I feel like quite a few of us here really wanted Eric to be the next coach. It is surprising that Barnes is blabbing about this anyways. He really pissed away a natty run this year. Just think, LSU and Auburn got more hardware than Tennessee. Thats crazy with what your team had. Barnes is a dumb bastard too because if he does this again and flirts with an opportunity, no one will want him. I see him getting shite canned from Tennessee sooner rather than later anyways. I bet he didnt take the UCLA job because he would have to do actual work to improve them, and that says something with how fricking weak the PAC is.

Why did he leave Barnes out of it? You dumbasses got PLAYED. If we HAD contacted Barnes WE WOULD BE BRAGGING ABOUT GETTING YOU TAXED AND PLAYED LIKE WE DO ABOUT GUS WITH AUBURN.
Our search was a feeler to Sampson and got him a raise and a coach in waiting for his son, had Gregg Marshall and wife in town and they elected the easy road over competition (like they always do), and hired a stud in Muss.
I'll let his recruiting and on court presence speak for itself. You people will be jealous soon enough, and I guarandamnTEE you you'll be hating Barnes within 2 calendar years. Book that shite.
