Why are Auburn people so pessimistic? These Bama QB's haven't proven shite. Mac Jones put up 3 pts in the second half against State. Auburn's offense sucks obviously, but Bo Nix had almost 300 total yards and 2 TDs against UGA (much better defense than Bama)

I wouldn't use this as a barometer on how good of a QB Mac Jones is.

I mean yeah yall have had a disappointing season, but yall had a freshman QB and probably the 2nd toughest schedule in the country. 10-3 would be a success I'd say.

Basically all he did against Tennessee was hand it off and get the benefit of a terrible personal foul penalty to keep yalls drive alive when it was only 21-13

The other game he came off the bench to replace an injured Tua.

He looked like a different QB in the two games he went into the week the starter - Arkansas and Western Carolina. Obviously not on the same playing field with Auburn's defense, but also not the relief appearances you've referenced.

When did beating a teams arse twice that is in your own division become a requirement and when has Bama ever done that?

Well the best Auburn has against bama this weekend is their defense and and they playing at auburn and they had a good outing on offense last week. Thats bout it as far as I can say for auburn going into the bama game.

Heck - we'll be rooting for you..and your defense is legit. But do you think Bo Nix and that offense can score enough points to beat Bama?

I mean, he almost scored enough to beat LSU so why not

I agree

Auburn needs to give Gus a raise and a 10 year contract extension. Lock him up before Arkansas steals him.
