I have a hard time with some of it. I'd like the point to be that Gill is the best coach instead of we need a black coach. Whether a candidate is black or white I would want the guy who is going to win my school the most games.
There are some good names out there as black head coaches but there are so many more that are white at this point. The problem is that there has to be a changing of the guard. There are only so many spots out there and you can't just force out good white coaches just to get the ratio up.
That being said I really do think Gill would have been the best option for Auburn. He's done an amazing job at Buffalo. Although you hate for race to be an issue, he would be able to use that as an advantage in recruiting where most guys would get crushed in state by Saban.
Beyond that I'm not sure why he said you can't win at Kansas State. Snyder had 7 or 8 10+ win seasons there.

Nope. They didn't hire him because "he's married to a white woman". Charles is KILLING Auburn's recruiting. hahaha.

I've been to and have friends in both, there is racism there too.

I'm not calling the South racist for going with McCain. I am question the guys pulling strings in the Auburn athletic program.
